DEAR NEW FARM:

I arrived at your site in my quest for farms in the southeastern Connecticut area, where we hope to relocate. I know Connecticut has a growing "eat local," effort and this is an area that is exciting to us (this and green residential building). You can search for farms in your area through our Farm Locator tool, but you should also check with the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Connecticut and the Northeast Sustainable Agriculture Working Group. If you like, you can list your skills and desire for employment in the “opportunities” section of our classifieds.
