Farm Description:
    Victory Farms is a small, family-owned and operated organic farm located in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona. The farm has been in operation since 1998 and currently cultivates about 3 acres. All produce grown at Victory Farms is compost-grown, no chemical inputs are ever used. One of our specialties is that the produce is harvested and delivered the same day to our restaurants, and the next day to our CSA members, for exceptional freshness. We grow a diverse array of produce each year, to provide our customers with a unique seasonal selection of the finest produce available.

Practices:
    We employ all sustainable farming practices including; making and using our own compost, crop rotation, companion planting, using low-energy greenhouses, maintaining a localized delivery area, mulching for weed supression and water conservation, and shading crops in the summer.

Describe your product specialties and highlights:
    We have a 100+ member CSA in operation since 2004. We strive to provide a well-rounded CSA share of around a dozen or so items each week including: salad or lettuce, some type of onion or garlic, a fruit, carrots, radishes, cooking greens such as Swiss chard or Tuscan Kale, eggs, arugula, fresh flowers, herbs, and seasonal items such as tomatoes, summer and winter squash, cucumbers, weet corn, eggplant, beets, turnips and more! We also sell wholesale to 25 valley restaurants, since 1998.

Where we sell our products:
    We operate our CSA at least 10 months out of the year. We have one pick-up site at The Roman Table restaurant, 4221 N. 7th Ave. in central Phoenix, where members pick up their weekly CSA share between 7-9 am on Saturdays in the summer and 8-10 am the rest of the year. We also sell to about 25 valley restaurants, several of which use a substantial amount of our product in their menus. Please see the home page of our website for a complete list. Our weekly CSA share costs $25, pre-paid in 4 week blocks ($100). Members can skip weeks with advance notice.
