Farm Description:
On a clear beautiful sunset evening in late February of 1994 Gary and Barbara Armstrong visited a farm in El Paso, Arkansas that was for sale. We immediately fell in love with this farm as we stood on top of the ridge and watched the sun set over the valley below. It was then the Armstrong Beefalo Farm came to be. We had heard about Beefalo a few years earlier and became interested in the breed for its lean low fat, calorie and cholesterol values combined by the breed. So within a few weeks we started with 15 Beefalo and have grown to over 200. We began selling Beefalo from our farm about 8 years ago and have been selling at the Little Rock Farmer's Market since 2002. Our animals are born and raised on our farm and fed and finished out on grass. We do not use hormones, chemicals or antibiotics, Our meat is USDA Inspected and Approved.

Practices:
Grass Fed and Finished No Hormones No Chemicals No Antibiotics
