Farm Description:
    Our CSA is special in that we are a cooperative of six growers spread across across four counties in Eastern Kansas. This means we grow our produce in several different microclimates and have, amongst us, different skills and interests. We also are experienced growers, having from 10 to 30 years of experience each. These characteristics help guarantee that our customers recieve a wide range ofsustainably grown, high quality, fruits and vegetables as well as insuring against localized weather disasters. Our CSA has been in operation since 1994.

    Rolling Prairie Farmers Alliance is cooperative CSA in that six family forms have joined together to form a subscription vegetable service We deliver our organic or pesticde free vegetables and fruits to four sites in Lawrence and Kansas City on a weekly basis over the course of the growing season. In Eastern Kansas, our season runs from early May through the end of October. Our Kansas City pick-up locations are at Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Blvd., Overland Park, Kansas and The Franklin Center, 14th and Metropolitan, Kansas City, Kansas. Our Lawrence pick-up locations are at the Community Mercantile, 9th and Iowa, and at the Senior Center, 745 Vermont St.
