Farm Description: Excelsior was one of the first orchards in the North Fork Valley of the Gunnison at the turn of the century. Currently we have 120 acre farm with over 20 acres in fruit trees.
Practices: We prune yearly, use organic methods to control pests and for fertilization and cover crops. We thin the fruit on the trees to produce maximum quality product and pick tree ripened.
