Farm Description:
    Matt Hayes has been farming organically for over 20 years. We farm 48 acres in 3 locations in the Salinas Valley, taking advantage of the different weather and soil conditoins. We farm a large variety of vegitables, herbs and flowers and our flock of 300 chickens produce the finest free range, fertile eggs available.

Practices:
    We utilize cover crops, rotate, and use a low energy greenhouse. We see ourselves as stewards of the land entrusted to us, and feel obligated to give back what the land has given us.

Describe your product specialties and highlights:
    We are a certified organic farm. We offer a wide variety of produce specializing in asparagus. We attend several farmer's markets, we sell wholesale and run our own CSA.

Our CSA is available at all our markets as well as drop off points in those areas and King City/ Greenfield pick up available in town or at the farm. We sell to many restaurants and stores in Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Luis Obisbo Counties.
