Farm Description:
    Delta Star Farm is a 250 acre certified organic farm. We use biodynamic applications on our field crops, pasture and vegetable garden.

Practices:
    We use the manure from our closed herd of beef cattle to supply much of the row crop fertility. Rice ponds are in rotation with cultivated fish to complete the nutrient cycle. We rotate corn, soybeans, soft red winter wheat and then cover crop with alfalfa. Presently we are building a low-energy greenhouse to enlarge to scope of our garden.

    We have a 100% pasture fed, closed herd of beef cattle, rice, pop corn, soybeans, as well as specialty salad greens, wheatgrass and vegetables.
