Farm Description: Our farm is a total of 10 acres, which we farm 2.3 acres. We sell at the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, to local restaurants, and from our farm. We offer a wide variety of vegetables and fruit, but are especially known for our heirloom tomatoes. We are certified organic. Our farm is family operated. We also accept W.I.C. Project Fresh coupons at our farm and at the Farmers Market. We offer an email mailing list you can join where you're emailed every week with a list of our available produce.
Practices: We use cover crops and rotate our crops every year to maintain a healthy soil and to reduce pests.
Describe your product specialties and highlights: All of our produce became certified organic in 2006. We always specialize in heirloom tomatoes with the 2007 season, we'll have at least 50 varieties along with lots of other veggies to chose from, including squashes, peppers, onions, potatoes, cucumbers carrots, beets and beans. We also have concord grapes, black raspberries and some plums.
Where we sell our products: We sell at the Ann Arbor Farmer's Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays (July-Sept) from 7:00a.m.-2:00p.m. Our customers can also call us or email us and order ahead of time and pick up their produce fresh at our farm. We're known for our certified organic, high quality, fresh produce. All of our produce is picked fresh every day. Feel free to stop by and see us.
