| The following is a
translation of the June 6, 2003 3 edition of the Danish
magazine, DLZ Agrarmagazine:
July 8, 2003 -- CropChoice news: After
the September 15, 2003 crop it is forbidden to use glyfosaat
on clay grounds. The Danish environment Senator decided
to forbid the use of Roundup to keep soil and groundwater
levels healthy.
Studies found out that glyphosate enters into the clay
3 feet deep so it can reach drainage water, and it is
also possible that it can reach deeper areas where they
have layers of water which can seep through via a crack
in the ground.
