New registration to help reduce spam

Despite our diligent efforts to keep the New Farm Forums clean of spam, we continued to have problems with inappropriate posts and excessive commercial offers. More than we could keep up with.

So, we decided to include a quick registration process to, hopefully, weed out some of the pirates who've been hanging around. It will only take a few seconds of your time and should make your experience on the Forums much less frustrating.

Just pick the forum you'd like to enter and click on "Register" in the upper right hand corner of the screen to get started.

Many thanks to all the users who continued to alert us to problems as they arose, and to those who have seen the greater value of the positive interactions over the negative thus far.

And if you see anyone abusing the site, you can let us know in the New Farmer Forum, New Farmer Living Room. We started a thread to help you help us monitor what's going on.
